Meetin' Time!
I trust everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving. I hope you didn't. Incredibly bad holidays with families are always great fodder for humor. Let's try to meet Friday at seven again. Who can make it? Who can't? Let me know. Also, let's start sending me some stuff you've written so we can all share.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. Here's something to work on for next week. Put together one sketch. If you only come up with an idea, flesh it out as much as you can, but otherwise write out a complete sketch. When you finish, send it along to me and we'll go from there. Gary's already done this, but he can send more if he wants. Get to work everyone.
Meeting
Thanks to Chris and Dawn who made it on Friday. We had a good little get together and we managed to upset a righteous Oregonian who heard part of an ironic conversation and took it to be serious.
Apparently I am a culturally insensitve bastard because I suggested that the United States was right to shift the Indians from Oklahoma after we found oil there because it would have been overwhelming for the Indians to do all the exploring, and mining and refining and that the money would have soiled their simple lifestyle.
Next week I'll be proposing that we should be able to shoot crippled people at will because they are slowing down the nation as a whole from being as efficient as we could be.

So, if we shoot for something next Friday night, say 7, who could make it and who could not?

We'll try for three again Sunday at the Concordia Coffee House between 29th and 30th on Alberta. Please email me, call or leave a comment to let me know if you can make it. Dawn, Garin, Trevor....you guys are exempt from that having already told me, but you can still send me stuff if you've got it. We're going to try a weekday meeting next week. This week's attempt was halted because I tried to put it together on too short a notice. I apologize for that.
Clarification
Gary brought up a good point (read the comment below to learn more about him)... please email me copies of whatever you've come up with as soon as you can. I'll compile everything and then distribute it to everyone in the group so we can all have a look at what we are coming up with and see if it helps spur any other ideas.
